Action Furnace has been supporting the local Calgary community for deserving families, with a donation of a new furnace and full installation. Our recent donation went to a home owner with a 36 year old furnace that used to have to leave tissue paper on vents to let her know that the furnace has kicked on. Read more below….  ‘Grateful’ does not begin to describe how we feel tonight. My name is Crystal and my boyfriend Brad won this furnace for me/us. Alex and Emo from Action Furnace were here all day installing the new furnace – these are two excellent workers, they sure know their stuff and worked hard all day! I can’t tell you how much sleep I’ve lost worrying about when my old furnace was going to kick the bucket – it was old AND unsafe. As a matter of fact, when the guys took the old one out (which was 36 years old), the bottom had rusted right through!Now I have an energy efficient furnace which will not only allow me to sleep at night, help me save money on energy bills, increase the value of my home, and of course keep me warm…I’ll be saving a TON of money on toilet paper and kleenex because I won’t be leaving them lying on the vents wondering if they’re going to fly off indicating that the furnace kicked in!Attached you will find a pic of two very happy, and oh so grateful, people sporting the ACTION FURNACE colors. As you can see from the attached picture, things are really starting to ‘heat up’ around here and we hope that this box of kleenex that Brad’s holding will last us for more than a day or two! Oh yeah, the dog is going to be much more healthy as well because he won’t be eating all the toilet paper and kleenex – just another bonus that this ‘deserving Calgarian’ is happy to report.Thank you from the bottom of my heart and Brad’s as well.
