We do not recommend trying to tune-up your air conditioner by yourself, as the components in your AC are sensitive and can easily be damaged. Attempting to tune-up an air conditioner on your own can also damage your ductwork and void your warranty, so it’s best to contact Action Furnace and let our professional technicians handle the work properly.
How long does an air conditioner tune-up take?
Our air conditioner tune-ups typically take around an hour to complete. If we encounter any problems that require more time to address, we’ll let you know right away so that you understand what will be involved and can prepare accordingly.
How can I prepare for an air conditioner tune-up?
To prepare for an air conditioner tune-up, please clear any debris from around your outdoor unit by at least two feet. You may also remove and replace your system’s air filters, or clean them if your AC has reusable ones.
